Description
Dalmatian Jasper is the trade name for Dalmatian Stone, which is not Jasper but rather a combination of Feldspar and Quartz. It is opaque, creamy white to pale gray or beige, with inclusions of iron oxide, tourmaline and other minerals. These inclusions create black and brown spots that resemble the random patterns found on its namesake, the Dalmatian dog breed. It is believed to encourage emotional harmony and strengthen relationships.
